Action Movie Of The Year

           

I have chosen to evaluate the movie Non-stop, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. I learned about this particular film by commercials on TV and by word of mouth. Both of those forms of advertisement were effective made me want to watch the film. The television commercials were extremely entertaining and left me wanting to drop everything and watch the movie right then. After much anticipation, I was finally able to see Non-stop and it fully met all of my expectations. In fact, as I was walking out of the theater, I was more than ready to see it again. The film is based around the leading character, Liam Neeson, or the Air Marshall. It begins as an average plane ride with average people. However, when the Air Marshall begins to receive threatening text messages from an inside source, things go haywire and it becomes anything but average. With the Air Marshall striving to save lives and protect his plane, nothing goes as expected. Lives are surrendered, both innocent and guilty and the action is infinite. With that being said, I do believe that this action packed film is hands-down the action movie of the year. I firmly believe that Non-stop is the action movie of the year because of the flawless meshing of actors and actresses that were chosen to play leading roles, the exceptional use of setting, and finally, the dialogue used in the movie.
