Overall, I do believe that
Non-stop is the number one candidate for action movie of the year due to it's esteemed characters, creative use of setting, and intriguing dialogue within the script. Since there has yet to be a perfect movie, Non-stop has it's flaws like all other films. James Mottram, a popular critic from 'Total Film' states, "A nifty lift-off and a tense first hour lead us, disappointingly, to a very bumpy landing. While Neeson and co. do their best, the script just doesn't deliver where it really matters." I do agree that the first hour is highly entertaining. However, the rest of the movie is just as intriguing. The entire film is jam packed with true action which makes it difficult for me to believe that one could become bored after just one hour. The ending to the movie may seem slightly abrupt at first but after thinking about it, the way that Bill Marks and Jen Summers exit the plane is a nice and calm way to wrap up a hectic film. Also, the ending doesn't leave the viewer wondering what happened next, it filled all of the gaps and provided closure. The script is well thought out and has the ability to appeal to all viewers with an open mind. I absolutely recommend this movie to anybody who is looking for a night full of action-packed entertainment.
